Hello everyone,
I hope that everything is fine on your side! I’m very grateful to share with you today a new piece of music called «I Will Never Abandon You.» As some of you already know, all of my musical work is related to Biblical Contemplations and I have made the decision to be transparent within the messages behind each piece of music.
Story of the track : This topic was very pivotal to me. When we consider the faith-walk of many Biblical heroes, we see all along that for some period of their lives, they went through very difficult moment even thought they were strong believers. What amazes me is their will. Despite their somber moment they were holding on. They weren’t mad at God. Instead the wanted to lean on Him even more.
C.S Lewis said in his own writings: “Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
I can personally relate to this. I converted to Biblical-Christianity in the darkest moment of my life when I was 19 years old. In the darkest hour, He sincerely shines the best.
However, it is not meant to say that God will use pain for our lives, it is not His desire to make one suffer. God gave one a happy life? If one is wise, one can discover Him through the blessings one already have. It’s not limited to pain. But pain has that power to erase our ego and it’s very pivotal to not have any as its illusion make us all blind.
Jesus-Christ said that we need to pray that we won’t fall into trials. God wants us to be happy, wants us to bless each one of us, wants us to rejoice in the Intense Glory of His being. I sincerely believe this. It’s all about having an intense love-relationship with Him. To live fully at all levels of existence, but meaningfully, eloquently avoiding all evil.
I’m sorry, as always, it’s messy, but whoever you are, God cares about your life. He loves you, no matter what, and if you personally call Him in your own heart, He won’t abandon you.
Construction of the track: I tried to illustrate God’s rescue by the staccatos sections. (The rapids violins your hear underneath the main melody.) On some moment it goes from an octave to another, I wanted to symbolize here the movment of God, like waves in the Ocean. I have kept the same leitmotiv all along the music which simply says «I Will Never Abandon You». It just intensifies until it’s done at the end of the track. The winds represents the perfect softness of God.
Thank you so much for being here, I would be absolutely nowhere without you and God.
